A Sophomore Year Courtship Still Going Strong 34 Years Later
Our Story
We both lived in Small Group and met through friends in May of our sophomore year, 1979. It didn't take us long to figure out that we were meant to be together and were married in July of 1982. We will be celebrating our 31st anniversary this year and have two fabulous children. One of which happens to be a Kent graduate!
Staying Connected to Kent State Today
We are both members of the alumni association and often attend sporting events, especially basketball. Karen is in the doctoral program at Kent, and she will be graduating from here again in a few years!
