Expertise
Primate Evolution: Research interests include phylogenetics, biogeography, hybrid zones & introgression, speciation, behavioral genetics, sex chromosomal genetics, mating systems, male-male contests, anthropoids (esp. Old World Monkeys).
Molecular Forensics: Research interests include low-template DNA (“touch DNA”), mixture deconvolution, development of forensic SNP analyses, hair & eye color assays, forensic relationship testing, "missing persons". Casework experience (2008-2014): Criminalist, Level III (Low-Template DNA Group), Office of Chief Medical Examiner, New York City.
