We investigate the use of nanotechnology for the treatment of diseases including multidrug-resistant bacterial infections, non-healing chronic wounds, and Alzheimer’s disease. We harness unique physicochemical properties of nanoparticles towards targeting multidrug-resistant bacteria, disrupting misfolded proteins such as amyloid plaques, or tune their capacity to control inflammatory environment.
