Adam Yaracs
Biography
Adam is an experienced architect and has been active within the Northeast Ohio architecture and design community for the past 17 years. He is currently a Project Manager with IKM Architecture and is faculty member at the 麻豆传媒 College of Architecture and Environmental Design. As a practicing architect, Adam focuses on Higher Education, K-12, Civic, and Workplace Design projects. His current projects include the Masterplan and Renovations to the Cleveland Rockefeller Greenhouse, Renovations to the school of Nursing and Moll Institute at Case Western Reserve University, a renovation and addition to his alma mater high school in Pennsylvania, and several projects both with the City of Cleveland and at Ohio State University.
As a faculty member at Kent State, Adam has taught First Year Design Studio, Fourth Year Design Studio, and undergraduate and graduate Portfolio classes. He is a graduate of the Kent State CAED program.
Adam has received significant recognition and accolades throughout his young career. In 2022 he was named a 鈥淭op Young Pro鈥 in the Midwest by ENR Magainze. AIA Ohio bestowed the 2020 Emerging Architect Award on him, and in 2019 Adam was recognized as a 2019 AIA National Young Architect Award recipient. Previously he has been awarded with the 2018 AIA Cleveland Presidential Citation, a 2013 AIA Cleveland Service Award and a 2011 AIA Cleveland Presidential Citation. In 2017, Adam was elected as AIA Cleveland President, making him the youngest President in the Chapter鈥檚 125+ year history. He also chairs the AIA Cleveland Design Awards program.
