Dr. Perkins serves as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the CARES Center. He has worked in higher education for 19 years serving students in a variety of roles in both academic and student affairs.  When asked what he likes about working in higher education and specifically the CARES Center he said, “I like to be in positions where I can encourage students and breakdown the real and believed barriers that students come to college with, and the CARES Center is the perfect place do that”.  

In his free time Dr. Perkins loves to travel and spend time outdoors with his family.
