With Ohio resident tuition starting as low as $3,530. per full-time* semester, Kent State East Liverpool and Kent State Salem offer an exceptional value! With the tuition guarantee, new freshman students can rest assured that their tuition will remain low and predictable for any degree they finish within four years. Lower division tuition** starts at $3,530. per semester and upper division tuition is $4,129. Students receive individual attention and quality instruction from top-notch faculty on a friendly and active campus. Your tuition dollars are well-invested when you take advantage of our many opportunities for research, service-learning, cultural experience, and engagement with faculty, staff and our community. Transfer students can take advantage of the tuition guarantee as well. The length of the guarantee is dependent on transfer credit hours.
Residents of select Pennsylvania and West Virginia Counties pay a full-time tuition rate of $4,440. lower division per semester and $5,039. upper division per semester.

IMPORTANT NOTES
Out of County Fee: Residents of counties other than Columbiana will be assessed an additional $1.00 per semester out-of-county fee.
Overload Fee: Students enrolled at both a Regional campus and the Kent campus for more than 18 credit hours will be assessed an additional $483. per credit hour for each credit hour enrolled above the 18 credit hours.
Online Course Fees: Some online courses may carry additional per credit hour fee.
Other Fees: Tuition amounts above do not include program fees, special course fees, online and distance learning fees, etc.

Of these components, the expenses directly owed to Â鶹´«Ã½ include tuition and fees and, for students who live on-campus, food and housing and for commuter students who purchase a meal plan, the cost of the food plan. Kent State East Liverpool and Salem offers scholarships to new freshman, transfers and currently enrolled students.
The scholarships are funded by generous gifts and donations from campus friends, businesses, foundations, faculty/staff and the local community. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, program of study, county of residence, financial need and other criteria.
Both campuses have scholarship committees comprised of faculty, staff and administration who evaluate the applications and award scholarships to deserving students. The scholarships are not renewable (unless specified) but students may reapply each year. Scholarships are awarded to students on a part time or full time basis, depending on the number of hours a student is enrolled per semester.
