UHURU Magazine

UHURU, which is Kiswahili for freedom, uplifts and informs students while also serving as a platform for student expression in writing, photography art, and graphic design, while primarily discussing racial, social and/or political ignorance. As a derivative of Black United Students, this publication is dedicated to disseminating knowledge of the African-American experience in the past, present, and future. Although we focus on the unification of the African-American population, we also serve as a safe haven and platform for other people of color, as it reflects concerns of all people of color at Â鶹´«Ã½.
