Janet Dix: Psychologist, Western Reserve Psychological Associates
David and Janet Dix have been supporters with their time as volunteers and gifts of the Read Center for International and Intercultural Education for more than a decade. Janet has a doctorate in Educational Psychology from the College of Education and is in private practice in Summit County. David, who holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Akron is a former trustee of Â鶹´«Ã½ and the retired publisher of the Kent-Ravenna Record-Courier and several Summit County weekly newspapers, all of which were part of a group of newspapers and radio stations called Dix Communications.
They believe in the global mission of Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s College of Education, Health and Human Services. The couple has two children, Chris, employed in data technology in Virginia, and Tim, employed in television production in California.
