Congratulations! to Laurie Wagner, Ph.D., MCHES, associate professor, Health Education & Promotion Program, who was recognized as Most Valuable Professor by student-athlete Kiana Mack at a recent Kent State vs. University of Ohio volleyball game.
Wagner teaches in the School of Health Sciences, and also serves as Program Coordinator for Health Education and Promotion and Integrated Health Studies.
Kent State Athletics asked each volleyball player to name a professor who has made the largest impact on their academic success during their time at Â鶹´«Ã½.
Kent State fell behind by six points in the first set, but got to within 23-20 on an ace by Kiana Mack, who finished with eight kills, three blocks and one ace. Kent State was defeated by Ohio, 3-1 (21-25, 25-20, 20-25, 10-25), in the final match of the 2023 season on Wednesday at the M.A.C. Center.
