Congratulations to Breanna Beaver, a Ph.D. student studying curriculum and instruction with a concentration in science education in the School of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies. Breanna first-authored two publications and finished her doctorate degree in three years.
Breanna's first publication, "," was published in late 2022 in the Journal of Experiential Education. The second publication, "Teaching climate change through educational resources from America’s national parks," is slated for the July/August 2023 issue of The Science Teacher. In this publication, Breanna translated the research from the 2022 article into a practitioner version for science teachers, co-authoring it with some national park employees. She will graduate in May 2023.
