鶹ý’s Division of Information Services has introduced , a video platform set to replace KSUtube by the end of the year. Kaltura was chosen because of its seamless integration with Blackboard Learn and in-depth features that benefit both faculty and students.
Information Services’ staff is facilitating the transition from KSUtube to Kaltura by migrating faculty videos from one platform to the other. More than 30,000 videos have been migrated to Kaltura so far, with many faculty and staff providing positive feedback.
“I am very glad Kaltura has been officially added as an online video-making resource for 鶹ý,” says Luis Hermosilla, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Modern and Classical Language Studies. “Integration of Kaltura and Blackboard Learn is very smooth. I highly recommend this tool for both instructors and students.”
By Jan. 1, 2017, users will no longer be able to upload videos to KSUtube.
