Biography
Emily Baumgartner, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Emerging Media and Technology at Â鶹´«Ã½. Her research interests include digital games for learning, the use of immerse technologies such as virtual reality and 360-degree video in learning, and computational thinking.
She received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Instructional Technology from Â鶹´«Ã½. She has co-edited multiple books, including Teaching, technology, and teacher education during the COVID-19 pandemic: Stories from the field. She serves as the managing editor of the Journal of Interactive Learning Research and the International Journal on E-Learning.
