Maps and Memories

Delighted to see the magazine highlight Kent State’s hidden treasure, the Map Library [“KSU Collections” fall 2016]. I have fond memories of pouring over (and filing!) the Sanborn Maps and learning from Mr. Ed Hall as a work-study student. That experience compelled me to pursue a minor in geography.

In Touch

Thank you, Kent State Magazine, for the new format, much more interesting content and more informative writing approach. It results in my feeling much more “in touch” with the university.
Best regards,

International Voices

I just read the fall 2016 Kent State Magazine, and I loved the cover and the section “International Voices.” The portraits are awesome, and I really enjoyed reading about all these Kent State people!!

Recollections

I appreciate receiving the magazine regularly. I am proud to be a small part of KSU, one of the greatest academic experiences in my life. Musselman Hall, the first one I moved into in 1968, was my second home. I still recall the exceptional academic atmosphere in the campus. For me, from faraway Asia, the walk from the small group housing to class along the path through the rolling hills was fantastically serene all through the fall, winter and spring. I hope and pray for the academic glory and the legacy of this green campus: Kent State, where the action is.
