About Our Master’s in Spanish Translation

The Master of Arts in Translation with a concentration in Spanish is offered through Â鶹´«Ã½ within the Department of Modern and Classical Language Studies. The M.A. in Translation for Spanish is a 36-semester-hour degree completed in two years on a full-time basis, or from three to six years on a part-time basis. In our master’s degree for Spanish translation, we have faculty with the ability to prepare you for your future endeavors in specialized translation, localization, terminology management, and project management.

Our instructors have a wide range of expertise and language industry knowledge that will allow each student to receive personalized advice and support throughout his or her education. Our instructors take pride in their students’ success and will be there with you each step of the way.

Our Spanish translator degree is designed to be tailored to your specific concentration in respect to translation, and provide training in localization and language project management. The program itself is offered in two options: online and on campus.

We offer both options in order to give opportunities both to students who want a campus experience and to students who may be working full time and would like to have a flexible way to further advance their career from anywhere in the world. Both the Spanish translation degree online and on-campus programs have the same curriculum and coursework requirements and will help to guide students to their prospective careers with a Spanish translation master’s degree from Â鶹´«Ã½.
