Nurses are givers. During each shift, our nursing grads proudly perform their jobs giving their all every day. For nurses, giving is a job requirement and a passion. One of the great prides of Â鶹´«Ã½ College of Nursing is the tradition of alumni, former faculty, and friends giving to help support our students. From scholarships to program and capital funds, our College of Nursing family continues to give back to help the next generation of nurses. One of the most popular and impactful ways of giving back is through planned giving.
Planned giving offers creative ways to cement your philanthropic legacy at the College of Nursing. Through estate gifts, beneficiary designation gifts, and many other options, our nursing community has been able to provide enduring and transformative support for our current students. Planned giving allows for individuals who may not currently have the expendable income to establish a scholarship outright, the opportunity to do so as part of their legacy at Kent State.
For many nurses, this option provides a path to create a scholarship or program fund that can offer assistance to our students in perpetuity. This type of philanthropy is popular among nurses as more and more retire and begin to assess their financial future. Planned giving can offer a way to support our students and help plan your financial future.
Here in the College of Nursing, and within the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement, we are happy to talk with you about if a planned gift is the right fit for you and your family.
