Colors of Summer 28-Day Veggie and Fruit Challenge

We all know that fruits and vegetables are good for us, but how many of us really get the number of servings we need? Find new ways to incorporate fruits and vegetables into your diet. Explore types of fruits and vegetables and their health benefits by taking part in the Colors of Summer Veggie and Fruit Challenge from July 11 through Aug. 7.

This challenge is an honor-based, 28-day program designed to encourage participants to increase their fruit and vegetable intake, which helps reduce the risk of developing heart disease and adult-onset diabetes, and promotes overall good health. Participants will receive an educational handout at the start of the program, as well as weekly email tips and trackers from our wellness partner, Be Well Solutions.

Program Guidelines:

  • Aim for at least two servings of fruit daily.
  • Aim for at least three servings of vegetables daily.
  • Incorporate fruits and vegetables in a variety of colors.
  • Aim for at least one daily serving from every color category.

Participants will report their progress on a weekly basis by submitting an email to KSU@bewellsolutions.com using the trackers provided by Be Well Solutions. And, as always, there are prizes and incentives for participants. Each week, participants will be eligible for a random drawing to keep you motivated and support your wellness goals. Winners will be announced throughout the challenge.

So, let us explore the “colors of summer” together and join the 28-Day Veggie and Fruit Challenge today! Registration is accepted through July 7.
