Get your Kent Pride on and join us for this year’s LGBTQ+ Alumni/Community TailGAYte event. Each year, LGBTQ+ students, alum, faculty/staff and community members participate in Kent’s homecoming parade where beads, candy and other goodies are offered. The parade ends at Bricco, a gay-owned restaurant in downtown Kent, where refreshments and appetizers are served. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to mingle and have a great time! Are you ready? Get set, let’s glow! Join us Friday, October 4, 2019 for the fourth annual Rainbow Run 5K. Each year we run faster, glow brighter and have more participants help out the center by raising money for our LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund. In 2018, with the help of 18 business sponsors and over 200 registrants, we raised nearly $4,000 to help LGBTQ+ students struggling financially.
