Biography
Camille Tinnin (she/her) is a Political Science PhD student specializing in Conflict Analysis and Management and American Politics and Policy. Her research focuses on social movements, policing, and state repression of protest in the United States. Camille is originally from Brooklyn, New York, but has lived throughout the New York City metropolitan area. She has also lived in Florida, Washington State, and Minnesota. Prior to coming to Â鶹´«Ã½, she was the Program Manager for the City of Saint Paul AmeriCorps VISTA Program housed in the Office of the Mayor. She has also worked as a community organizer, middle school teacher, and volunteer coordinator before finding her way back to academia.
