The meeting’s theme for 2023 was Creating the Healthiest Nation, Overcoming Social and Ethical Challenges. Kent State College of Public Health presentations included:

  • “Assessing and Addressing the Needs of the LGBTQ+ Community in Greater Akron, Ohio: A Community-Based Participatory Research Approach”, presented by Alex DiDonato, BSPH and CPH graduate assistant, and Andrew M. Snyder, RN, MPH, CPH outreach program director.

  • “The Ivory Tower of Pizza: Experiences of Food Insecurity Among College Students,” poster presentation by Center for Public Policy and Health assistant professor Jennifer King, Ph.D.

Congratulations to the presenters and looking forward to APHA 2024 in Minneapolis, MN!
