The College of Public Health is pleased to welcome two new members to our family: Freida Boland and Gretchen Thomas.

Freida Boland serves as an administrative secretary. She retired from Â鶹´«Ã½ in January 2020 with 30 years of service to various departments/colleges on campus. After retirement, Boland felt she needed a little more structure to her day and applied for a part time job in the College of Public Health. She lives in Rootstown with her husband, Don, who is also a KSU retiree, and has two sons and three grandchildren.

Gretchen Thomas, M.A., serves as the Academic Recruitment and Retention coordinator. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2021 and Master’s degree in College Student Personnel in 2023, both from Bowling Green State University. Thomas has a long list of interests, including reading and listening to podcasts. She also has a love of all animals and has two cats, Sundae and Vincent.
Stop by and say hello to Gretchen and Freida in Moulton Hall.
