IN A FLASH: Cosplayers on Campus

Members of the Kent Cosplay Club

The KSU Cosplay Club was created/founded about a year ago by Grace Ellis (center in the photo below), who is the organization's president. Ellis is a junior criminology and justice studies major in Kent State's College of Arts and Sciences

The club is a safe space for cosplayers and for those interested in cosplay. Everyone is welcome to join. Meetings can include discussions about upcoming conventions, cosplans and guest speakers. There also may be club activities that will involve crafting, wig styling, sewing and other DIY cosplay projects.

Want to see one of YOUR photos in “IN A FLASH?” Submit your Kent State-related photos to InAFlash@kent.edu and you may see them in a future Kent State Today post. Photos should be framed -horizontally- and include a brief description of what’s happening in the photo along with when and where it was taken.
