A group representing Kent State's LGBTQ+ community and its allies painted "Protect Trans Youth" on The Rock on Kent Campus.

The message was shared in response to the Ohio Senate's override of Gov. Mike DeWine’s veto of a bill that bans transition-related medical care for transgender minors and restricts trans athletes’ participation on school sports teams.
