Kent State Trumbull Bowling Team is Rolling

Warren, OH (Oct. 8, 2021) On Oct. 2, Kent State Trumbull's bowling team debuted in the Ohio Bowling Conference's (OBC) first tournament at the Bowling Palace in Columbus.

Bowlers competed as a mixed men's and women's team in the Men's Division.

Brett Zeigler led the team finishing 52nd with a 171 average, followed by Nathan Zook (54th)(169.3), Susan Decker (60th)(162.8), Willis Howell (67th)(156.5), and Ryleigh Gough (93rd)(129.5).

"It was great to get out there and see what they can do," Coach Dale Johnson said. "I think we turned some heads being a first-year program and finishing where we did.

The team heads back to Columbus on Saturday, Oct. 23, to compete in the second of four OBC tournaments.
