From making her mark on campus during Destination Kent State to joining the recreational skate team, Marissa Belock, a sophomore biology major, has already created so many amazing memories during her college career. Thanks to her mother and Kent State alumna, Lori Belock, ’86, these memories are now wrapped up in a beautiful quilt of blue and gold T-shirts.

A �鶹��ý alumnus is teaming up with local restaurants and other alumni and friends to help raise money to provide meals to frontline workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic in Northeast Ohio.

Out-of-state residents who have earned a bachelor’s degree in Ohio will soon be able to save on tuition for graduate programs at �鶹��ý thanks to a new in-state tuition option offered by the university.

U.S. News & World Report has named two �鶹��ý programs as U.S. News Best Online Programs for 2020. Kent State is recognized in the Best Online MBA Programs and Best Online Graduate Education Programs rankings. U.S. News released its 2020 Best Online Programs rankings Tuesday, Jan. 14.

Kindness means something different to everyone, but to Stephanie Sweany, ’05, it means making a stranger’s day a little better by simply smiling at them. Stephanie started the Canton Kindness Coalition to “make kindness contagious” in November 2018.
