I hope you all enjoyed our first rebroadcast concert! This week, I have been able to meet some of the supporters of Kent Blossom Music Festival and leaders of Â鶹´«Ã½ through a Zoom meeting. I would like to share a little bit about the meeting.
If you remember from my first blog, I mentioned my interest in the community partnership of Kent Blossom Music Festival. Strong community partnerships are a crucial component for all arts organizations to remain sustainable. In today’s blog, I am going to talk about what I have learned about the unique community partnership between the Kent State and The Cleveland Orchestra during these three weeks.
Since the in-person components of Kent Blossom Music Festival are canceled this season, my internship and its responsibilities have become entirely digital. In today’s blog, I want to introduce some of them related to operations and also ask you, the readers of this blog, to provide any advice to help us better deliver information, services, and performances.
It has been two weeks since I started my virtual internship with the Kent Blossom Music Festival. I keep learning new information every day. In today’s blog, I want to talk about what a virtual internship looks like.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful lunch break! My name is Eva Zhang and I am so happy to be a part of the Kent Blossom Music Festival as a summer intern. For the past year, I have studied Music Leadership at Eastman School of Music and worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Institute of Music Leadership (IML). This is my first week of work and I am trying to keep up with everything I have learned so far. As part of my internship, I'll be writing a weekly blog. For the first entry, I want to share a little bit about myself and why I choose KBMF for my internship.
