Jayita Datta, Psy.D.
Dr. Datta is a licensed psychologist with extensive experience working in India and America ranging from psychiatric, medical, prison, and community mental health settings. She has worked with children, individuals with various disabilities and special needs, families, and immigrants. She is passionate about working with college-aged population and has been working at CAPS for more than 11 years. She provides individual counseling, neuropsychological assessment, groups, workshops, supervision training, and outreach to the campus community. She has taught college level Psychology courses in India and greatly enjoys teaching Multicultural Issues to Clinical Psychology Doctoral students at Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s Department of Psychological Sciences. Dr. Datta is a Staff Psychologist with an International Students Focus where she assists students explore their cultural identity and adjustment to college. She collaborates with various departments including the Office of Global Education at Â鶹´«Ã½.
