ADVISORY: Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Pharmacy and Â鶹´«Ã½ to Sign Articulation Agreement

Kent State Students Can Pursue Accelerated Pharmacy Degrees through Partnership

The Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) College of Pharmacy and Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry will enter into an articulation agreement on Monday, Jan. 13, at 3 p.m. The signing will take place in the Urban Conference Room, located on the second floor of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Library in Kent, Ohio.

This partnership will make it possible for students to obtain their undergraduate and Pharm. D. degrees in just seven years, rather than the typical eight years it takes to complete both.

The agreement will allow Kent State students who satisfy the specified transfer articulation courses in the College of Pharmacy at NEOMED to complete their Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, with a biochemistry concentration, in the College of Arts and Sciences at Kent State. The agreement encourages all Kent State students pursuing a science degree to consider a career in pharmacy.
