Angela Neal-Barnett, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences was recently honored with both a 2024 Webby Award and a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for her exceptional contributions on the Evergreen Podcasts and NPR Ideastream podcastLiving For We,鈥 an impactful exploration of the health and well-being of Black women in Cleveland, Ohio.

A Kent State faculty researcher in the Department of Biological Sciences has launched a pioneering study to explore how different species adapt to high-altitude environments in the Himalayas where oxygen levels are significantly lower. This research could have significant implications for understanding hypoxia-related conditions in humans.
