鶹ý College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM), one of 11 accredited colleges of podiatric medicine in the United States, is proud to enter into a Grant Agreement with the Bako Medical Education Foundation, Inc. (“BMEF”).
The Bako Medical Education Foundation strives to advance diagnostic excellence in the field of podiatry through education, empowerment, and inspiration. Toward this goal, the Foundation sponsors with scholarships and fellowships educational institutions that seek to train the podiatric medical community on the innovations and best-practices of medical diagnostics.
Thanks to the funds generously provided through the Bako Medical Education Foundation, KSUCPM will be well-equipped to support the future of its students, establishing endowment funds in amounts up to $100,000, to be paid over a four-year period. Future updates will be provided as these funds are disbursed to the carefully selected recipients.
“BMEF is pleased to provide this grant to 鶹ý College of Podiatric Medicine,” said Steven J. Berlin, DPM, FACFAS, a board member and Grants Committee chair of the Bako Medical Education Foundation. “Future clinicians will be trained at Kent State, and we are honored to play a small role to further this important endeavor.”
