Black Squirrel Entertainment
Black Squirrel Entertainment is Â鶹´«Ã½’s student-run entertainment platform. Since 2005, BSE has provided Kent State students with the opportunity to let their voices be heard!
Our radio program airs student run programs 7 days a week during the fall and spring semesters. Each show is run by student radio jockeys (RJs) which gives them creative control of the content on their show. Shows are typically two hours long and vary in topic and genre. We also feature podcasts and pre-recorded content through the Kent State Student Media Spotify. We’ve got everything from sports, comedy, and ALL THE HITS! We air online which means you can listen anywhere around world!
BSE also features a streaming platform with various entertainment programs that range from Hollywood drama, video games, music, comedy, and more! These shows run Tuesday to Friday in the evenings throughout the semester.
In addition to our live programming, BSE has several departments including web, marketing, sports, and design. We look to fill each department with dedicated students who produce quality work for the RADDEST station in the nation.
