CACREP Information

CACREP requests that each accredited program reports the (A) number of graduates in the past year, (B) completion rate, (C) licensure or certification examination pass rate, and (D) job placement rate of students/graduates.

A) Graduate Information: From Spring 2013 through Summer 2022, we have had 61 doctoral graduates from our CES PhD program. From Summer 2021 through Summer 2022, we have had four doctoral students graduate.

B) Completion Rates: In the past five years (2017-18 through 2022-23), we have averaged between 48-53 doctoral students enrolled in the CES PhD program from the early curricular phase through Dissertation II.

C) Licensure/Certification: Students often enter the doctoral program having already taken the NCE or NCMHCE. Although strongly encouraged, the PhD in CES does not require a license or certification in counseling. 

D) Job Placement: 100% of our doctoral students have secured positions as counselor educators and supervisors or advanced clinicians upon graduation.
