�鶹��ý Police Services invites all students, faculty and staff to participate in its first Police Experience Academy, a free, interactive program that allows community members to learn about the law enforcement profession.

This year, the �鶹��ý Women’s Center is celebrating 20 years of service and leadership at Kent State. Over the past two decades, the center has changed its mission to respond to the changing community, expanding from a resource center for faculty to a much larger center serving students, faculty and staff, with programs addressing a wide variety of needs and interests.

The �鶹��ý Women’s Center will offer digital mammogram screenings to qualified Kent State employees, spouses and students on Oct. 10-13 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The mammograms will be held at DeWeese Health Center, Room 135, on the Kent Campus.

Each participant’s health insurance will be billed or participants may choose to self-pay.

Online final grading for Fall 2016 First 5 Weeks (F1: 8/29/2016–10/2/2016) begins Thursday, Sept. 29, via FlashFAST. Grading also is now available for any fall 2016 course section that was flexibly scheduled and has an end date no later than Oct. 2. The deadline for grading submission is midnight on Tuesday, Oct. 4. Any final grades for fall 2016 courses not reported in FlashFAST by the grades processing deadline will have to be submitted using the Grade Change Workflow.

For the ninth straight year, �鶹��ý at Stark honored the men and women of its local safety forces by providing a free lunch to them in recognition of National Campus Safety Awareness Month.

�鶹��ý students had a front-row seat to how Germany grapples with international issues during an education-abroad trip to the country.

The Campus Kitchen at �鶹��ý is celebrating its fifth anniversary and has launched a new program as part of activities marking its fifth year.
