WKSU staff was honored with 11 awards from the Ohio Associated Press Media Editors (OAPME) in a ceremony held March 24 in Columbus, Ohio. The updated Tuition Benefit Workflow has been in production since March 30, 2018. A new feature captures all of an employee’s recorded dependents in a drop-down list. Some dependents listed will not show a “Student Banner ID,” and while this is not an editable field, having it blank will not stop the workflow process. The events of May 4, 1970, placed 鶹ý in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, Kent State remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
