Housing

It will be your responsibility to secure housing prior to moving to New York City, but we are here to help and guide as best as we can. We can recommend a number of housing providers that previous students have used. The estimated monthly costs vary greatly in New York depending on your chosen location, amenities, size of apartment and length of stay.

Note that the New York City Fashion program requires housing confirmations 90 days before the start of the Spring and Fall semesters and 60 days before the Summer session, so you’ll want to make sure you secure a place in time. 

HOUSING PROVIDERS

Below is a list of suggested housing providers with the most popular being the Chelsmore and Educational Housing Services (EHS). These are all recommendations for you and you are absolutely allowed to find other accommodations on your own.

Chelsmore Apartments

Chelsmore Apartments, a New York based property management company, offers furnished & unfurnished mirco-apartment rentals in New York City to students, interns and professionals. Chelsmore owns and operate multiple properties within New York City and has options for every budget available.

Educational Housing Services

Educational Housing Services (EHS) is a not-for-profit organization that provides safe and convenient housing to thousands of students and interns. As part of the EHS community, you’ll have access to a bundle of amenities including free wifi, central air conditioning, fitness centers, and 24-hour security. Their St. George and New Yorker Residences are located in prime neighborhoods with several subway options.

FOUND Study
FOUND Study offers modernized dorm style and apartment style accommodations throughout multiple locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and include a robust set of amenities including private and shared rooms, private bathrooms, apartment style and community kitchens, 24 hour front desk, AC and heating, high speed internet, gyms, classrooms and lounges, game rooms, and weekly community events.

The Markle

The Markle is housing for students and professionals working, interning, and studying in New York City. Located in historic Greenwich Village, their building is surrounded by shops, parks, and restaurants within minutes from all forms of New York and New Jersey public transportation.
