Career Exploration and Development
Assists students in obtaining full- and part-time on-campus employment. Services include career advice and assistance with job search, resume building, job interviewing, networking and career fair preparation. Conducts annual career workshop specifically for international students during the fall semester and hosts a career advising session every Friday morning in the Office of Global Education.

Safety Assistants
In addition to being available for escorts, Safety Assistants complete rounds in every residence hall complex during the evenings. While completing rounds, Safety Assistants inspect fire safety equipment, enforce policies, build relationships with students, help resolve conflicts, and assist residents with any questions or issues they may have. They are also in communication with the Kent State Police Department, other University Housing staff members, and campus partners.
