鈥淭his joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of the nation鈥檚 efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.鈥�

International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education. The week was created in 2000 and is now celebrated in more than 100 countries worldwide. The objective is to promote educational programs that prepare Americans, as well as international students, to succeed in a world that is becoming increasingly globalized. The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs describes International Education Week as 鈥渁n opportunity to celebrate diversity and the many opportunities and benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.鈥� It also encourages the active participation of all individuals and institutions interested in international education and exchange programs.

College of Architecture and Environmental DesignExhibit of CAED Student Work: Curitiba, Paris, and FlorenceVisit the College of Architecture and Environmental Design to view our students鈥� studio work while studying abroad in Curitiba (Brazil), Paris, and Florence. The exhibit will run until Friday Nov 22nd.

Education Abroad, Office of Global EducationFreeman Fellows Info SessionLearn how to receive a $5,000 - $6,500 scholarship to intern abroad in Asia in Summer 2025! We will review the scholarship application process, internship programs options, and then make origami paper cranes to send to the Children's Peace Monument in Hiroshima, Japan.

Join our Education Abroad Webinar on Microsoft Teams! We'll guide you through everything you need to know to find the perfect study abroad program for your career goals. Registration is required in order to get the Teams link. Open to all Crawford College students.

Dept. of Intercollegiate AthleticsInternational Student-Athlete ProgramThis event will be utilized to bring international student-athletes together, inform them about international student requirements (VISA, I-20, OPT, etc), discuss culture shock, American athletics structures, and then talk about American holiday traditions.
