Dear Academic Affairs Faculty and Staff,
Again, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your unwavering commitment and active participation in the first step of our Transformation 2028 (T28) process. This has been a monumental effort, one that could not have been accomplished without the dedication, insight, and collaborative spirit demonstrated by faculty, staff, and administrators alike. Your engagement in this process has been instrumental in shaping a more streamlined and efficient, yet innovative and dynamic future for Academic Affairs.
The reorganization of our degree-granting colleges and academic programs is the first step of T28. Thank you for your patience, your thoughtful feedback, and your support as we continue to work toward our goal of a more cost-efficient and relevant Academic Affairs.
After discussions with President Diacon, we are recommending the to the Board of Trustees. This model is very similar to the Gold+ model that was endorsed by Faculty Senate on Monday, February 10th but with a few modifications. I have consulted with the departments and schools impacted by the adjustments to the Gold+ as well as their colleges and the Faculty Senate Executive Committee.
