With over 4,000 people using the KSUMobile app on both the Apple iOS and Android platforms, and with an average 70 new users each day, the KSUMobile app is a staple feature of the Kent State experience for students and faculty.
The Mobile App Development Team designs, tests, creates, and supports many of the desktop and mobile applications used at Kent State, including more than forty workflows and backend management applications.
The digital accessibility team works closely with Student Accessibility Services, University Communications and Marketing, the Accessibility Committee, Procurement Department, and many other campus partners to ensure equal and effective access to the digital solutions used by Kent State students, staff, faculty, and the community.
It is not enough to create digital products that work correctly; SDI creates and continuously improves our products by prioritizing the needs and reactions of Kent State users. UX advocates for products that are easy-to-use, pleasing to interact with, and built with the same tools and frameworks users value in other products.
