Submissions
The Listening Eye's 2024 Call for Submissions, The Health Issue, is now closed.
The next call will open February 15 - May 15, 2025. New and established artists considered. For details, please make a free account at and search for The Listening Eye during the open call period.
Standard Guidelines:
- Only submit original work neither published nor under simultaneous review elsewhere.
- Submit maximum of four poems of less than 750 words each.
- Submit maximum of three short stories or nonfiction essays of less than 750 words each.
- Submit maximum of six pieces of artwork (photography, drawing, design). Cover contest for artwork that relates by any stretch of the imagination to the magazine's title. Prefer vertical format.
- Include brief bio (35-40 words).
