Angela Spalsbury, Ph.D., of Chesterland, Ohio, has been selected as the new dean and chief administrative officer of Â鶹´«Ă˝ at Geauga in Burton and Kent State’s Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg. A Kent State alumna, Dr. Spalsbury currently serves as professor and chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Youngstown State University. The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Finals are Friday, Oct. 27, from noon-2 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Kiva. The 3MT gives Â鶹´«Ă˝ graduate students just three minutes and one PowerPoint slide as tools to explain their research in a clear, engaging and concise manner. TV2, Kent State Student Media’s student-run television station, is hosting this fundraiser through Extra Life’s web platform.
