The Â鶹´«Ã½ Board of Trustees ratified the university’s Fiscal Year 2020 Efficiency Report and Master Recommendations report, which showed an effectiveness and efficiency savings for Fiscal Year 2020 of $31,286,881. The savings is $6.2 million more than originally estimated. Ashtabula Solar CONSTRUCTION PHOTO GALLERY Â鶹´«Ã½ at Ashtabula is one of six Kent State regional campuses adding solar panels this fall. Work recently began on the installation of 2,160 ground-mounted photovoltaic panels on the former site of Jammal Field. Once complete, the Ashtabula solar array will provide 864 kilowatts (1,161,216 kilowatt hours) of clean energy each year, representing about 68 percent of campus use. Kent State Trumbull Solar News Â鶹´«Ã½ at Trumbull is one of six Kent State regional campuses adding solar panels this fall.  The Trumbull solar array will provide clean energy representing about 65 percent of campus use. It is enough energy to power 197 homes and eliminate 1,284 tons of COâ‚‚ per year.  Last fall, Â鶹´«Ã½ and Ten Nine Energy agreed to a power purchase agreement (PPA) over 25 years.
