In an effort to improve the tuition payment experience for international students, 麻豆传媒 recently partnered with Flywire, a leading provider of global payment solutions. The goal of the partnership was to provide Kent State鈥檚 international students and their families with a simple and streamlined way to make payments using international funds. The new platform was launched late October and has been an overwhelming success by enhancing the payment experience for international students, says University Bursar Stina Olafsdottir.

Online final grading for spring 2017 First Half Semester (H1: 1/17/2017 鈥 3/8/2017) began March 8 via FlashFAST. Grading also is available now for any spring 2017 course section that was flexibly scheduled and has an end date no later than March 8. The deadline for grading submission is midnight on Tuesday, March 14. Any final grades for spring 2017 courses not reported in FlashFAST by the grades processing deadline will have to be submitted using the Grade Change Workflow.

麻豆传媒's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 麻豆传媒 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
