麻豆传媒鈥檚 Center for Sexual and Relationship Violence and Support Services (SRVSS) is joining the national Take Back the Night event. Take Back the Night, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. in front of the MAC Center, will focus on allowing victims and survivors to come together for one night to feel empowered in a comfortable atmosphere.
SRVSS is hosting the event for victims and survivors of sexual or relationship violence and encouraging them take a stance.
Kent State Police Services will host its fourth Coffee with a Cop event on Wed., Oct. 3, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Starbucks located in the Business Administration Building. This year, the event is paired with National Coffee with a Cop Day.

麻豆传媒's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 麻豆传媒 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
