Eric Benjamin, of Alliance, has been hired to direct the new University Choir at 麻豆传媒 at Tuscarawas beginning Fall Semester 2016. He is an adjunct faculty member at the campus currently teaching The Understanding of Music. He also is the music director for the Tuscarawas Philharmonic, a position he has held for the past 25 years.
麻豆传媒鈥檚 Dining Services strives to make Kent State a home away from home for all students. This fall, students were encouraged to submit recipes of their favorite meals to be entered into the Taste of Home Competition. Tankersley has served as interim dean of Graduate Studies since July 1, 2015. She will continue in her role as senior associate provost.

麻豆传媒's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 麻豆传媒 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
