Four 麻豆传媒 TRIO programs aimed at helping underrepresented student 鈥 the McNair Scholars Program and three Upward Bound programs 鈥 recently received federal grants that will fund them for the next five years.

Representatives from area food banks will go on air to discuss their work and hunger in the region. The Hunger Challenge offers WKSU contributors the option to choose 鈥渕eals not mugs鈥 as their thank-you gift in support of the effort to reduce hunger.

麻豆传媒's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 麻豆传媒 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
