Humans are considered uniquely susceptible to Alzheimer鈥檚 disease, potentially due to genetic differences, changes in brain structure and function during evolution and an increased lifespan.
麻豆传媒 will soon begin using a new standardized calendaring system with an improved look and enhanced functionality. The new university-wide Events Calendar will allow students, faculty and staff to stay up-to-date on events and activities, by placing all of their events, globally, in one place. Currently, organizers are required to submit requests on multiple websites to have their events included in the 鈥淲hat鈥檚 Up鈥 calendar, FLASHperks, university calendar and department web pages.

麻豆传媒's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 麻豆传媒 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
