Student Recreation and Wellness Center Faculty/Staff Group Exercise
The department of Employee Wellness and Health Promotion, in collaboration with Recreational Services, is pleased to offer the following sessions. A Student Recreation and Wellness Center membership is not required to attend and there is no cost to Â鶹´«Ã½ employees. Pre-registration is required. - Mondays - Spinning (12:15 - 1:00 pm) in-person only. Spinning is an indoor stationary cycling class that focuses on improving your cardiovascular and muscular fitness with biking on simulated flat roads, hills and jumps, followed by off-the-bike strength training and core exercises.
- Tuesdays - Rejuvenate yourself with Lunchtime Yoga (12:15 - 1:00 pm) virtual and in-person. This class will focus on awareness of breath and the connection between breath and movement. We will awaken the mind and energize the body while learning alignment. The class will begin and end with relaxation. This practice is open-minded and free of judgment. Requests are always welcome!
- Wednesdays - Office Express Workout (12:15 - 12:45 pm) virtual and in-person. Limited on time, space, or equipment to exercise during your workday? No problem! Stay active and energized both physically and mentally with this 30-minute, office friendly workout that focuses on strength, cardio and flexibility without the need for additional equipment or space. Easily modifiable for anyone; all levels of fitness are welcome!
