Veroni Lectures Series
The Â鶹´«Ã½ Veroni Memorial Lectures in Philosophy and the Humanities
In 1999, the Estate of Dr. Frank Veroni, a NE Ohio physician and philanthropist, endowed a lecture series intended to appeal to a broad university audience. Since its creation, the Department of Philosophy has hosted philosophers, scientists, journalists, and novelists, among others to deliver these lectures, generally on a semi-annual basis.
Our Veroni Lectures speakers stay in Kent for a few days, meeting formally and informally with faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and members of the university community. The Veroni Lectures are always free to attend and open to the public.
Our upcoming Veroni Lectures events are posted on our Events page.
