Stark Tours & Events

As you explore the classrooms and welcoming spaces on campus, you'll experience a feeling of security and belonging. Kent State is a community dedicated to helping you succeed in achieving your educational goals.

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful, park-like campus at Kent State Stark.

 

STARK CAMPUS TOURS

Campus tours are offered at:

  • 10 a.m. on select Mondays 
  • 2:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays

Music Technology tours are offered at:

  • 9 a.m. on Fridays

When you come to campus:

  • Our campus is large so plan for plenty of walking and steps. Elevators are available.
  • Campus tours last about 90 minutes.
  • Follow signs to Visitor Parking in Lot 101 by the Recreation & Wellness Center (Frank Avenue entrance). View Campus Map.
  • Check in at the front desk in the Office of Student Services, 132 Main Hall.
  • Before taking your tour, an admissions counselor will welcome you to campus and answer any questions you may have.

Stark Music Technology Tours - Fridays

Music technology tours are offered at 9 a.m. on Fridays.

Meet with an admissions counselor and a music technology student ambassador to see the studio spaces, visit the practice rooms and experience how your musical interests could become a career!

The Music Technology major comprises the following concentrations:

  • Audio Recording provides students the opportunity to learn advanced audio recording techniques.
  • Music Production provides students the opportunity to learn how to use technology to realize creative work such as original music, arranging and production.
  • Performance provides students who want to perform the necessary technological tools to succeed in the modern music industry.
