The pathway from a two-year college to �鶹��ý will soon become an easier road to travel for Ohio students, thanks to a grant awarded to Kent State to collaborate with three Ohio community colleges to streamline the transfer process.

At a ceremony held April 11, 2019, nearly 50 years after his own graduation, John Elliot, ’70, and his wife, Fonda, were present as the architecture and environmental design building was officially named “The John Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design.”

A team of Kent State students took first place in the seventh annual Mission: Life international competition on November 12, which took place at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.

�鶹��ý’s Giving Tuesday 2018 broke the million-dollar mark for the second year in a row.

With the launch of its 2018 Giving Tuesday campaign on Nov. 1, �鶹��ý has again transformed what was just a one-day fundraising initiative into a monthlong giving campaign to support student scholarships, expanded programs, study away initiatives and 21st-century facilities.

Throughout the month of November 2018, alumni and friends of �鶹��ý have the opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the lives of our students and on Kent State.
